On AKC terms and those are some hoops you have to go through to get a breed recognized which as I mentioned before, Biewer breeders are trying to do that and don't want to be part of particolour. To them they are Biewer's from Germany.
BTW in case you didn't know already, the Biewers are only recognized by the German Biewer Club not the German Kennel Club. I know Yorkie people in Germany and know breeders here who are good friends with Yorkie people in Germany.
