Maybe not ... prior to AKC allowing the parti color to be registered, these off colors were hidden, given away, or disposed of - they were just a dirty secret. But now that they are eligible for registration, many feel there is no reason to hide this beautiful color from the public, only hidden from the show ring. |
Personally, I don't know in 12 years of being in show/breeding of any show breeders that have produced parti colour.
I am amazed at the multitude of knowledge aobut show breeders from people are aren't show breeders nor do they have anything to do with them, never been at their homes never spoken to them as friends and yet seem to have intimate knowledge of what shows up in their whelping box. this is sure all news to me and I would bet news to the show breeders.
