I think that was the point in any purebred dog that you can have genes that produce colour or whatever that is not what the breed should be.
The point, in my opinion, of this thread getting the life it got, was that these wrong colours etc are not 'rare' as in desirable but are just that, wrong colour and SHOULD NOT ever be sold for exhorbitant prices to people who think they are cute which they certainly can be but neither rare nor desirable and certainly should a show breeder produce one will give it to a good home or sell for a very low price.
If somene wants to buy a chocolate, tricolour whatever go ahead but go into it with some knowledge of what it is you are actually buying.
