YTCA was adamant against it, due to the fact that some yorkies are late in clearing and most likely would be DQ'd.  You're right, the standard is very ambiguous and left open for interpretation.....we shall see.  We need more breeder judges....not too many of them left.  I would love them to put more emphasis on structure.

  I hope that the judges that will be judging the yorkies will take the time to get trained on the intent of the change in the standard.  It will be interesting to see how it will effect the show ring.  I'm not expecting that they will DQ the puppies as our standard does say that the puppies are born black and tan, but it's the late blueing adults that I'm thinking will be the ones to get DQ'd.
