He said she would probably be fine but watch her closely. If there had been only one puppy he said definitely a C section. Little Ruffles had her two puppies in the middle of my sofa with my hubby and I on each side of her. One puppy , the male, was much bigger than the female. Both puppies and mommy all did great. I never bred her again nor any other yorkie over the years until this year. I just had puppies born yesterday with my Shadow. She had five. Shadow is about 7 1/2 lb. Although breach for 3 out of 5, she seems to have had them ok. She was bred with a 3 lb male. My vet told me he frowns on breeding a dog under 5 lb. and always make sure the male is smaller. He also said it is wise to have them x-rayed that last week to see how many there are. That way you may know (if he can tell on the x-ray) how many to expect and be monitoring that all have arrived.
That is way, way to small to breed. Is she trying to produce "teacups?"(being sarcastic)... I hope you can keep talking her out of it or get someone else to buy her from her and get a better home for the little girl......

And (to the Quote above) Can you send pics of your girl and puppies? It sounds like everything is ok and I hope everything stays ok! Hope mommy is fine. Just shows that with any size problems can happen.
