 Something to stop the chewers
I had a young one that was chewing all the oak trim in our new home. I tried pepper sauces, red pepper and some no chew stuff. I think he developed a taste for it. Finally my mom said buy some powdered alum like she used when making pickles. It will not hurt anything. I made a paste of water and alum and put a little on some trim corners in home. It worked. I tasted the alum myself. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww it makes you pucker. Like eating unripe persimmons sorta. Awful stuff. lol I think the alum may be the ingredient in deodorant that they are talking about. Or something similar to it. Good luck. |
