We had to tape Chloe's and had a few trials at first. Try Shooter's website, I think I got the how to tape directions from that one. If not, I'm sure one of the experts here can tell you how its done, I just cannot remember. I do know we tried various methods, some that lasted about a minute before Chloe got it off. I also had a groomer suggest sprinkling dry milk, like Carnation Instant, on her food, because it is a cartilage issue, which I did. I also made sure her ears were shaved at the tips, you don't want extra hair weight. Whatever method you choose, it only takes a week of being taped to get the ears up. I agree with the poster that said if they aren't up by 6 months, they probably won't come up. It wasn't that I cared if they were floppy, I was just afraid one would be up and one down, I did not want that to happen. It's not as scary as it seems, if done right, your puppy won't be hurt or bothered by the tape. |
