I took her to the emergency vet hospital at 1am this morning and got home at 2. they induced vomiting because she was so bloated and I didn't have the content ingredients of what she had eaten. They said if it had xylitol, an artificial sweetner, in it that it could cause liver damage and kidney failure.
She chewed up the entire pack of Weight Watchers fruities candy including the wrappers and packaging. I have no idea where she could have gotten it from while I was out.
I'm just glad she's fine now and I now have a hefty sum to pay back to my parents (I borrowed the money from them to go to emergency). |
