I've heard that it can take from a couple of days to getting used to each other to "tolerating" and they're never really close. I hate to tell you that my two are the latter. My Brownie was almost 5 years old when I got Pepper and I've had him for about 8 months now and Brownie tolerates him, she doesn't play with him, doesn't even get close to him if she doesn't have to. It's getting better day by day and I still have that hope that they will be buddies, but I don't think it will be anytime soon. How long have you had Ciera? It gets harder as the first one gets older before you get a new pup I think........
On the other hand, I've had friends who brought the new baby home and it just took a couple of weeks for adjustment before they were stuck like glue. Good luck with your two and I hope they're best buds soon.
