I Completely ignore fits. This is hard but when Emma does negative things for attention I quietly walk away and sit where she cannot see me but I can still watch her. If she throws a fit in an area that is for everyone like the kitchen or living room I gently remove her from that room and place her in her bedroom then turn and walk out and say nothing. I have noticed that we haven't had a tantrum in about six months then she will test me again and see how I respond. this is hard but if she gets no attention for yelling she tries a new method for getting my attention. When she communicates her frustration in a positive way I respond back. This works great for us and maybe will help. Just stick with whatever you decide to do. Mommy, is the most tyrying job in the world and there is no right or wrong way. Good luck.

I also threaten to throw away toys that are not cleaned up. And have "thrown something away" before becaused she refused to take care of it, (we just gave it to someone who would appreciate it)
