In small quantities liver is VERY good for dogs, the best way to give your dog a good diet is to feed as many different types of meat as you can. After all in the wild they would eat the entire animal, every last bit. Dogs are dogs, not humans so they have completly different nutritional requirements to us therefore its a bit silly to say that you won't feed them anything that you woulden't eat. Surely you feed them at least some sort of bone (wether whole or ground) for calcium, would you eat bone? Just my opionion mind.
