Tina. I should have mentioned in my earlier post that Newman's tumor was on his foot pad and it was very rare. We had the tumor removed and biopsied but it came back within months and then we looked into amputation of his leg, and went through pre-testing to be sure it had not spread. Like I said, unfortuanetly it had spread to his liver so we did not follow through with amputation. Again, though the location of his tumor was rare. None of the vets or oncologists consulted in their 30 yrs. had ever seen it before. Elaine |
