Tina. I'm from NJ and went through similiar with my Newman. We use Stafford Vet. Dr. Vandenbrock. He always referes to Redbank which is a specialty hospital and has oncology. However, he consulted himself with them and took care of my boy. I would reccomend doing pre-tests first to be sure it hasn't spread. I would do CBC. Lymphnode Aspiration and and ultra sound as well as x rays. I'm telling you this as we went through it. Unfortuanately for us, it had already spread to Newman's liver and we lost him last Friday. I'm sorry, if I'm upsetting you. I don't mean to. I'm just trying to give you the best advice I can. Dr. Vandenbrock (Stafford Vet) is in my opinion the best around for care. They've been my vet for over 10 yrs. and always get ranked best in Ocean County. If you would like their number I'd be happy to share it with you and I hope your baby does well. Elaine |
