I appreciate all of your comments on this situation. I totally agree that a breeder has every right in the world to choose where the puppy goes. I have not ever said that I was against that. I was just truely confused about the entire situation. I mean one minute we are talking about the possibility of him being shipped to me on Saturday and on Sunday I am getting an e-mail that he will not be mine afterall. I had been very excited about getting him and many of you shared in my excitement and had been wanting updates and photos of my new baby. The whole point of this thread was to keep those of you who were concerned in the loop with the what had happened with him. As far as my calling the vet, as I stated I had called as a reminder to have those knees checked not to try to get info. from the vet. This was his 2nd time to the vet (he had gone the day before for the health certificate) and the 1st time there was no report given on the knees. In the meantime I had been notified by another Yorkie Talker who had been in a similar situation to mine and her pup was shipped w/LP. I wanted to be certain that nothing was forgotten on this 2nd visit to the vet. According to the warranty that I signed LP is not a covered thing and I wanted to be sure that before the pup was shipped and before I spent 2000.00 on a pup that he would come to me with no problems. I understand that 2000.00 may not seem like a lot of money to some people, but you better believe it is a lot to me.
I also agree with you all that this is a blessing is disguise. I try not to have hard feelings about this whole situation and I am moving on. So thank you all for your advice and opinions on this matter, and once again my intent was not to start any problems rather keep my Yorkie Talk friends updated on my situation. We care about what is going on in one another's lives and I think that's great!
