I love buying hair clips. I get them online(tinkerbellscloset.com or ebay). I really like the mini snap ones that are flat for sleeping in like these:

Bobo dogs, small size are a must. I got mine at Petsmart. A good comb, shampoo/conditioner and a great quality food(I like Canidae, I think that's how it's spelled) and you're good to go. Really nice pet tags at
