WOW, what a list of responses!

Let me begin by saying that I thank those who gave me positive advice for what to do going forward. I may get together with someone local who offered help. Let me also say...

1. I am not Nodak. Not related to Nodak. Nor do I know who Nodak is.

2. I am not a bad person who abuses animals. Please forgive the "Leather Belt" comment. I've (actually my wife) has only used the belt 2-3 times and never in an abusive way to hurt the dog.

3. I love dogs (nobody mentioned my comment about GOOD experiences with dogs as a child).

4. As all of you have admitted - Yorkies take TIME, PATIENCE and WORK. And maybe I just don't have the time and patience to work with Yorkies.

5. I don't hate my dog. He's cute and can be lot's of fun (I should have said this the first time) and gets much love and attention.

Thank you all again for your passionate responses - good or bad. I will seek the help that was offered and we'll see how it goes.

Oh... and I'll retire the leather belt also.
