So, you're sure that he's not playing?? It really sounds like he's trying to establish dominance. You need to let them know that you are top dog...Show them that you are alpha by doing little things like...Make them sit and stay before you feed them. Have them follow a command before you give treats, things like that. Do a google search about being pack leader and you will get lots of info.
