Thank you, I really don't much care for these rails at all, and neither does she. They seem awkward, intrusive and very much in the way to me. I know I don't like bed rails all around me when trying to sleep in the hospital.

It wasn't so much the amount of the deposit, it was more the fact that they expect it before even ever seeing my girl... as a just in case situation. They said they would refund the money if it wasn't used, but I just didn't like the idea of tieing my money up like that, or that they seemed so money hungry. No other vet in our city expects pre-payments like that. I could see it had I already been there with her for an exam and he felt it was a strong possibilty or something, but to not even see the dog yet? They didn't even know her size... just that she was a toy breed. The explanation I got was most people don't carry that kind of money with them when seeing the vet in an emergency situation, so he likes to already have the money beforhand... and in their oppinion most toy breeds should & are delivered via c-section. Redicuous, on both accounts & haven't they ever heard of a debit card or visa for peats sake
