I think this is a great idea for honest people. Most of the Yorkies that are missing have been stolen and are either being sold or used a fight bait (MAKES ME SICK!) I know if I ever found ANY animal I would try to find the owner, have it scanned, call the police and animal control but that is me. I don't know how many people would actually do this (of course all of us on here would) but, in the real world how many people do you actually think would bring a stray Yorkie in to have it scanned so it could be returned...especially where they aren't the cheapest little things...JMO.
