I just got back from New York a week ago... I went into that store (it's in Little Neck, right?)... I went in there with my daughter and grand-daughter after we ate in McDonald's across the street. (small world, eh?).
I live in Missouri (born and raised in New York though.. my family still lives in New York).... anyway, I breed yorkies and I went into the store to see the pups (who can resist checking out pups)... also to check out the prices... I looked at a male who was $1500... with a runny nose... The place was clean but the pups looked "not that lively". I was tempted to hand a couple that was coming in the store my business card as we were leaving... (didn't though).
I currently don't ship, but I did have a couple drive down from Connecticut for a pup from one of my last litters.
As others have stated, there are breeders with quality puppies outside of New York. Best of luck to you...
