It's for a RCA position (Rural Carrier Associate). I WISH it was as a clerk...that way I could work in an air conditioned building.

I took the P.O. test this past July. Then, they sent the 20 page application that I had only a couple of days to fill out and send back to the Corpus office. I've only had the interview so far and then they called 3 days later to offer me the job. I guess the next step will be to do all the other stuff you mentioned.

I'm going to call back on Monday and take the job. I decided that I could substitute teach (I have enough earned college hours) and it'll be more flexible. Only thing is not having benefits. But you never know...those could be right aroud the corner, too!
