Sounds like he's just got an excess of energy. Any way to give him more, regular exercise? I play with Eddie outside for 15-20 minutes twice a day. It's still not enough, but it does seem to keep him from barking every time I sit down. Also, make sure he has plenty of toys and chew bones to occupy him.
