I've had laminate and tile. I like the laminate because it's easy to clean and comfortable to walk on barefoot. The tile is prettier, but it's a bit harder to clean and I don't like walking on it barefoot.
Neither one has been a problem, dog-wise, since Demi chooses to have her accidents on the carpet.
