I think owning a yorkie, let alone any pet, takes great responsibility and I think it's wonderful when younger people can take on the challenge and do a great job of it
I'm turning 21 in September, but I did get my first puppy (Bella) when I was 16 and then Luigi this year. It definitely takes work but it does teach you a great sense of responsibility. Good luck to y'all and keep doing a great job taking care of your little furbabies
