I just got some of Walmart's generic brand...that stuff supposedly disintigrates the proteins. I used it last night on Max's crusty eye stuff, and it seems like it helped make it easier to remove (without giving him a bath). I'm going to use it again today when I bathe him. He doesn't really have any "stains" except when I don't clean his face. I do think probably using just a wet, warm washcloth does just as well though. At least I only spent $3 for a BIG bottle
