I have a question and since I don't really know any Biewer folks on a personal level to contact and ask I thought I'd just ask here since there are some...

I read on a biewer site and I qoute "don't be fooled into believing that biewers are not yorkshire terriers"
and then..."biewers are 5-12 lbs in size, there are NO other specified size catergories in any registry"

I don't know alot about biewers, other than they are quite lovely and I have mostly read on here in the past about them. What I do know is yorkies. And standard yorkshire terriers shouldn't exceed 7 lbs. So why is this? Why did they morph into a larger size than what they originated from? I'm confused!! Help me
