Default I'm Sorry.

Cocoa. I'm sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to do. We lost our Newman this past Friday. Like you, we had to put him down. He had a tumor in his foot pad and was operated on in March. They gave him about a year, before the cancer returned, but four months after the surgery it returned. We went through pre-testing to see if it spread as we were going to have his leg amputated in hopes of curing him. The ultra-sound showed that his liver was enlarged and a mass was found in the liver. We brought him Friday morning and said good-bye. He would have been 10 in December and he was our first Yorkie. Part of me wishes that I brought him home with us to burry, but it was just so hard. We opted for an individual cremation and his ashes will be returned to us (I hope very soon). I think when we finally have him home again, I'll find some peace with all of this. Again, I'm sorry for you. It's such a tough tough thing to do. I hope peace can be found for everyone that goes through this. Sincerely, Elaine
