We hear more bad than good about pits. The truth is, they are one of the sweetest breeds ever. But they also are VERY powerful and act on instinct. It needs to be something you feel comfortable with, but I say go for it. Make sure that you research every potential breeder carefully and look back on the puppies' lines. Socialize the puppy as much as you can. Pit bulls aren't bad dogs. They just are very powerful and their power needs to be respected - not tested. Good luck! |
