I have had experance with a pit.. My husband brought one home when my kids were little. we had a cocker at the time. Mugs (the pitbull) was 6 weeks old when he got him. we had hhim 2 years he played with the kids got along with the cocker, then one day he was eatting & my daughter walked past his bowl & he had her down.. She had over 300 stiches in her face. she was 7 then & now she's 32 and still has scars. needless to say the pit was put down. They will turn on you. we gave him a very good home but now I'm scared of them.. Please head warning.
