 Skin infection
I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for a skin infection to go away. I have a 3 year old yorkie that saw the vet a week ago. He had gotten into a patch of turkey ticks and as a result of scratching got a skin infection. The vet told me to use a medicated shampoo or sulfodene on his skin where the infection was. I am seeing his skin peel like he is loosing a scab or something. I just don't know if this is normal or not....he has never had any type of infection like this.....Thanks! |
