Don't bother...

Our Dempsey is a real barker! He's actually my husband's dog, and I swear from the other room it sounds like the two of them are talking.
Bark bark
Shut up
bark
quiet
bark bark bark
I said shut up...

They go on and on! And just like a kid he waits until the phone rings and always has to have the last word!! LOL Not a mean bark. Just trying to communicate.

We tried the sound type of collar, and it didn't stop him at all, but I swear the other dogs cringed! I felt like the wrong ones suffered!! I also bought one of those collars that gives a little zap when they bark. He didn't even flinch at the highest setting.

I've also seen collars that spray a scented spray in their face when they bark, but at this point I've given up. (I'm sure my neighbors would gladly chip in for me to get one though!)

He is a 35lb Sheltie, though, and way sturdier than these little guys. Just be glad their little barks aren't as loud as a big dog!!!

Good luck!!
