Both very different looking, but cause the same distress - loose stools, blood and icky. I worm twice a year whether I find them or not. Charlie had a tapeworm and segments were in his "poop". He had just been to the vet a week before and she looked at one of his morning gifts. No worms were seen, but they appeared the following week.
Definitely clean up any poopies immediately and avoid areas where it hasn't been cleaned up.
