My vet gave me one by C.E.T. (Virbac) in the poultry flavor and Izzy likes that one. I got that from my vet directly and it wasn't that expensive...under $10 I think. Now is the challenge of me getting the toothbrush into Izzy's mouth...she wiggles too much..I just let her play with the toothbrush and chew on it - I know she is only getting the flavor off the toothbrush but at least it's a start.
For thos of you toothbrushing experts out there....how long did it take for your Yorkie to let you actually brush their teeth? |
Both of my girls HATE the Petzlife salmon flavor. SO what I do is, put a drop of it on the toothbrush, then squish it down into the bristles, and then put a thin layer of Petrodex Poultry flavor over that. Now they don't fight me so much
Then a spritz of the Petzlife spray and they are good to go
