Unfortunately, my yorkies have killed 5 baby birds this year. For some odd reason, the mothers keep laying their eggs in our yard and our dogs wait for them to hatch. We've contacted animal control trying to get the nest moved, but they refuse.
It's just terrible, but they pull the birds until they stop making noise, just like a squeaky toy.
Poor birds, I feel so badly for them. |
