 Yorkie = Bird Murderer?!?
I've had my lil' Beau for almost 6 years now and I just recently (as in days ago) brought home a baby bird. I was walking around with the birdy in my hands and she (the bird) tried to fly and glided to the ground. The minute her feet touched the ground Beau tried to kill her! He lunged towards her and started to growl at the bird when I caught him mid-air. I made Beau go into the sit and stay position until I got the bird back into her cage but if I hadn't caught him it could have been...UgLy!!! Is it a yorkie thing to hunt birds because I've caught him jumping in the air to catch wild birds too... Any ideas on how to make them stand each other so I don't have to put them in seperate rooms? H-E-L-P!!!!!!!! |
