Fool Me Once by Fern Michaels.
I haven't posted in this thread until now because I really like to read historical romance, BUT this is a romantic suspense story and the main character has two Yorkies!
There are even two Yorkies on the cover!!
It's in paperback and you should be able to find it in half price bookstores now.
