Convert your dog's weight into ounces.

Multiply that by 1.5%.

That is his daily meat requirement for the average dog, not too active.

If he is very active, a performance, or working dog, then multiply that by
2%.

If dog needs to gain weight, then 2.5%.

These are standard guidelines. Every dog is different. You can adjust amounts according to their needs.
