Welcome to YT!!

This is such a great site, as you can see everyone here is always willing to lend an ear or paw!

When I very first got Annie she was small and had a very small mouth.
I did as the breeder instructed me to which was to shred the Pat Vanpattans natural balance log(it looks like summer sausge) onto her dry food. You want the dry food for her teeth. That is really important. I will also tell you that they will go after the softer food first and leave the hard. I learned to put very, very, small amouts in the dry. Eventually she was on all hard food and now we use the log for treat.

You will get lots of advice, not all pups are the same. See what works best for your pup. But make sure she gets hard food. BTW I did try the natural balance dog food with Annie but it was too hard for her, even when I broke it up for her. It is a really good food, but the hard food is to hard for her.
