I read the thread about "some people" and the rudeness, and I had one yesterday also. I was walking Jeanie, and this guy says "what kind of dog is she" and I said "yorkie" and he says.....oh well she's not silver, but she's cute anyway
My baby is a cotton coat, and very dark.....probably won't gray out at all. But I thought the rule of silvering is only for showing? It's not a sign of a pure yorkie is it? The papers I have say her parents are all yorkie all the way back in the blood lines.....and she is yorkie in every way to me. The other thing is her ears droop - which we are working on now....but even if they don't stand, again, that is not a "purebread sign" is it? Isn't it just important for showing???
I get tired of the ignorance of others that are snobbish of the "perfect yorkie". Mine might not be perfect for showing, but she sure is perfect for me
My cutie little baby.....I'm glad she is a bit different. Makes her special......what do you all think?
