How old is your pup? I know that many Yorkie breeders do not let their puppies go to their forever homes until they are at least 12 weeks of age because that is a critical time for the moms to socialize and teach her pups. I have never had a problem with the socialization of my fur-babies and all I did was introduce them to everyone & everything one step at a time. I always wanted them to be closer to me first, hehehe

Hopefully, when you get him he will be pretty well socialized already and you will only have to keep nourishing that in him until he is fully vaccinated so he will be protected

.
I am a little bit of an over protective mommy

-but I don't even let my best friend bring her chi's (who are healthy and vaccinated) to my house when I have Yorkie pups or before mine were fully vaccinated just in case they had picked something up they would already be immune to while walking, that my pups were not protected from. Just in case...
