I think your idea for a litter box in the back yard is a great idea but I would not recommend going to the local pet shop and if you do dont put your pup down on their floor, please...better safe than sorry
Ok, I won't take him to the pet shop. But how do I socialize my puppy? I've heard weeks 8-14 is the critical socialization time. We didn't socialize our other dog, and we had so many issues with him. I don't want to make the same mistake. I want to keep my puppy safe, but I also want him to get used to people and other dogs while he's in that important phase.
