It's a hard decision. And when it comes to being able to fight a pitbull off, I have a certain mentality - dogs are descendents of wolves & there's really no fighting one off. If any dog is determined to kill another, it's a slim chance to none you're gonna be able to fend them off for long. Unless, I spent time with the dog and whatnot, I'd be hesitant.
