Buddy is 15lbs but all muscle! My vet thought he should be 11lbs but
when he was sick awhile ago and lost acouple of lbs. he looked terrible
so I am not worried about it.
I would think it depends on your Yorkie's structure. Buddy is solid, no
fat on him at all!
Do you walk him, that's an excellant way to keep him in shape.
Also watch the treats and human food is not good for them. No fatty
foods of course. Chicken breast and veggies Bud get's with breakfast
and dinner. Plain yogart and some fruits are ok. Do not give him
grapes, onion, garlic or raisins. All are toxic to a yorkie.
You can find more pics of Buddy in the photo gallery.
They also make all natural treats low in fat, which I do buy.
Old Mother Hubbard, Paul Newman and Natural Balance all make them
and they are all good brands.
Have fun and enjoy your "Teapot". A term YT uses for the bigger ones.
