I'm sure if you're driving all the way across the country it will take you a few days? The Benadryl will just make her sleepy...I'm not sure if it helps with motion sickness. Maybe someone else has more experience with this. But I would think that either Dramamine or one of those meds would help with the motion sickness AND maybe make her drowsy. I would think she'd need to eat SOMETHING at least once a day, even if you're going to be travelling. Maybe take a cooler and cook some chicken and rice to give her a little bit of in the evening? That's what I would do anyway.
