This is why I don't EVER buy the girls treats anywhere other than a pet store (NO pets sold in the stores where I buy from) I'm not saying that you couldn't get tainted food from speciality pet stores but, it's more unlikely. The store where I buy from has all the top brands that the company manafactures themselves....Merrick, Canidae, chicken soup etc....I know the owner of the store. She makes all the treats right there in the store so you know exactly whats in them. I feel really bad this happened to that poor little baby. I also know someone that lost their dashchaund from food bought at Wal-Mart.
