Don't know how much to leave out, I free fed mines since I had to go to work and left the food out. I think if they get out and take walks and run and chase balls etc., they burn off a lot of weight.
Kodak gets up at 6:30 and Kamari follows suit and they scratch till I get up. They then eat as I refresh the water and give them soft food.
After that it's outside we go because they've already used the pads anyway during the night. They usually hood their poop till we go out. Then I come back in and get ready for work while they look at me with sad eyes. They know I'm about to leave them. |
