I am the wrong person to answer this question 'cause we have a houseful. I have probably financed the newer wing at my vets office. $ has to be a concern and also the caretaking aspects. I am lucky to have some willing teenage kids that help with grooming and cuddling, but when my nest gets empty, I'll probably downsize the crew, so everybody gets enough individual attention every day. It's not right to keep them if you don't have time to make each one special. It is an individual thing and only you know what works for you. I don't think 4 would be a problem at all, depending on what your schedule is like. |
