Well i live in NY and back at the end of June i traveled to North Carolina with my fur baby to visit my friend. Our flight was at 12pm in the afternoon so i fed him in the morning around 6am and let him drink his water and then that was it i didnt feed him after that till we go to NC. On the flight he was good i gave him a few kibbles of food but not to much and little bit of water. When we went to pick up our luggage i put a wee wee pad on the floor and he peed like there was no tomorrow he is a very calm pup on a regular so the flight he was good he slept most of it since it was not that long of a flight.

That would be the only thing i suggest is withholding food and water for about 3-4 hrs before the flight you dont want your puppy going pee or potty in his carrier.
