Maybe she is pooping because she has been trying to push the puppy out?

When Bella had her babies, she started with the panting then the contractions, I could feel them when I put my hand on her side....can you feel those when she goes poopy?
The contractions seemed to have stopped so I called my vet and took her in. They said she was in early labor (no milk production yet, no distress, and they could keep her and start pitocin or do a c-section but would prefer to let things progress naturally, as all vital signs were good and she was doing fine (just has a wacked out grammy....). So we opted to go home and let nature take its course. Twinkles is resting comfortably in her whelping bed and I am going to crash on the couch. But we all feel better knowing Mom and babies are all OK! What a night! Thanks for hanging in there with me tonight, Jaded Smilez,

Lynn
