 If you want the ears to stand, you should shave the hair on the top 1/2 of his ears. Milli's will still flop if they get too furry. If you leave them flopped for too long, you will need to tape or otherwise support them in order for them to come back up.
 
 He should be done teething by the time he is 8 months old...hasn't he lost all his teeth yet? Both my furgirls were done teething by 6 months old.

  Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure how to tell if he has lost all his baby teeth. I think I better trim his ears, I guess he is a bit old for teething. I really liked his ears up, I don't want them to stay down permanantly
